No Cost 4 day writing residency Contest
Chapman House Writing Residency: Sunday November 9 - Friday November 14
This November, we are excited to offer a no-cost writing residency to four writers at the Chapman House, a property of Station Inn Pawling. The dates for this year’s residency are Sunday November 9 – Friday November 14.
We will prioritize emerging writers who have not yet published a book-length project, though anyone is welcome to apply. We accept applications from writers in any genre, including fiction, memoir, poetry, and nonfiction.
The Chapman House has four beautiful suites and a shared kitchen. We hope the time away from routine and responsibility will provide fertile ground for creative inspiration. Write, hike on the nearby Appalachian trail, connect with the other writers, soak up small-town life, or just take time to let your brain settle and ideas germinate.
We will host a casual public reading for the writers and other local authors on Thursday, November 13.
